Making the Implicit, Explicit: Cultivating Cultures of Care at Work

Sept. 25th – The things that actually shape how your team feels, from who gets to rest and who absorbs the slack, to how and when you can say no, are rarely written down. These norms too often live in what's assumed, not what's said. This webinar is guidance and practice on how to codify care practices and make the implicit, explicit.

The things that actually shape how your team feels, from who gets to rest and who absorbs the slack, to how and when you can say no, are rarely written down. These norms too often live in what's assumed, not what's said. This webinar is guidance and practice on how to codify care practices and make the implicit, explicit.

In this space we will share concrete practices including structuring creative benefits people actually use, building accessibility and neurodivergent-inclusive practices into daily work (not just policy), and taking real time off without creating cycles of burnout across your team as people cover each other’s work. We'll talk through how to approach budget gaps and restructuring through the lens of sharing power and cooperatively deciding how to weather the storms. And we'll share two tools you can start using immediately: a "How to Work With Me" guide to share more proactively with one another about your needs, and tools to set your team up to say "no, but.. this is what could support”, before you're in crisis mode.

Everything we share is pressure-tested: pulled from how Spring Up cooperative actually runs itself, as well as tools we have workshopped with dozens of organizations through consulting and training.
